The group headquarters of Kunlun Longyuan is located in Changping District, Beijing, adjacent to the China University of Petroleum, CNPC Science and Technology Exchange Center, and Sinopec Conference Center. The group headquarters undertakes management, research and development, marketing, and other functions. Production bases are distributed in Liaoning, Inner Mongolia, Sichuan, Xinjiang, and other places. The Liaoning Zhangwu production base and Inner Mongolia Kailu production base have been put into operation, and the Sichuan Zigong production base, Xinjiang production base, Zhangwu mining area, Houqi mining area, etc., are under construction and preparation.

The Zhangwu base of Kunlun Longyuan is located on the southern edge of the Horqin Sandy Land, covering an area of more than 50 acres, with a production workshop and supporting building area of more than 30,000 square meters, undertaking the main tasks of intermediate testing and production of support agents. The production base is equipped with three fully automatic coated sand support agent production lines, which can produce 300,000 tons of new-type coated sand support agents per year; six fully automatic quartz sand support agent production lines, which can produce 600,000 tons of new-type quartz sand support agents per year. The Zhangwu sand mine under construction covers an area of more than 500 acres, with a quartz sand reserve of more than 10 million tons, which can mine 1 million tons of quartz sand ore per year, providing a strong raw material guarantee for the production of support agents in the Zhangwu base.

Zhangwu base is the largest comprehensive production base of fracturing sand in Northeast Asia, which can fully serve the development of unconventional oil and gas resources in the Songliao Basin. The garden-style factory has received visits from leaders of Liaoning Province, CNPC, and Sinopec for guidance and work. Liaoning Longyuan Sand Industry Co., Ltd., the operating entity of Zhangwu base, has been rated as "National High-tech Enterprise", "Party Member Business Household", "China Casting Association Designated Visiting Enterprise", "Liaoning Province Enterprise Technology Center", "Liaoning Province Eagle Enterprise", "Fuxin City Professional Technology Innovation Center", "Silica Sand Association Rotating President Unit", "Economic Operation Advanced Enterprise", "Special Contribution Award for Sand Industry", and the company is also the multiple tax champion in Zhangwu.

In 2019, the company achieved a production value of 230 million yuan, and the blueprint of the "First Five-Year Plan" was fully achieved. After the end of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2023, the company released a new "Second Five-Year Plan", proposing the "Double Ten Plan" of production value over 1 billion and fixed assets over 1 billion.
